Dev Log: Mar 7th


Notes: Saving and Loading is now functional! You're able to save a run's progress after every shop visit, in case you need to come back later. In addition, there's now a win condition: Beat twenty waves and defeat the BOSS to achieve victory.

-Fixed weapon stats resetting upon loading a saved run.

-Fixed run stats not resetting upon new game while save is present.

-Fixed XP/extra levels not resetting upon new game while save is present.

-Fixed wave count not resetting upon new game while save is present

-Save/Load feature complete:

   -Game auto-saves at the *end* of every shop visit

-Fixed disappearing sniper glitch

-Added new boss: CYBER-GATTLER 9000 (Inspired by community member EnchantedEcho!)

-Added new enemy type: drones (Cyber-gattler boss minions)

-Added new enemy type: Spawn Pods

-Added new enemy type: Spawns (Pod minions)

-Added new enemy type: Forked Gunner

-Added in-game timer feature; tracks playtime

-Added game over screen, with stat overview and win/loss result.

-Fixed HP not setting when restarting from game over

-Fixed crash when buying potted plant item

Update 9:40PM EST: Hotfix:

-(Hopefully) Fixed fire rate disabling if scaled too high

-Bosses now properly randomize - you'll never know which boss you're going to encounter until they're staring you down!

-Removed debug commands that were interfering with movement keys (again)
